Maddie's session

One of my friends recently posted a picture of her new car on instagram. Instantly I knew I had to set something up because a pink miata?  YES.  I had this vision in mind for a little retro car shoot. At the very last minute, I grabbed an old sheet from the closet and made this flower crown on the car ride there.  We originally chose this lake to go to but it was too packed and had to drive around for a park instead.

Eloise & Alex

This was the first time in so long that we have shot around noon so it was quite the challenge. We have this BEAUTIFUL rose garden in our area that we went to.  It's one of our go-to locations for sunset shoots since there's barely any shade. We had to use a huge reflector to cover them and I think it worked out pretty well! :)

Flower Crown {Preview}

A few pieces of this shoot were last minute choices but so glad we went with it! I am so in love with this first photo.  I think this really represents our new style.

Like our page here to see pictures there first. More to come very soon! ♥

Couple Session {Preview}

Yesterday we shot our very first couple shoot! ♥ I went a little snap happy because there was just too much cuteness that had to be captured :) This is my favorite session from summer! Here's a little sneak peek.

Classy

MUA: Maritza Perrault

We usually don't shoot indoors so this is still very new to us. We set our equipment up differently this time and these photos came out amazing.
I'm in love with the close up of the her makeup!

Prom

Beautiful, right? We were hoping to get a few shots with sunflares at this rose garden. :)
These photos make me think of weddings. I don't think we are fully equipped for even attempting one yet but I can imagine how fun it would be. Capturing every moment even those candid kind with real emotion. I'm a sucker for those :) Plus every bride wants to remember the small details of her wedding day.

Silent Daisy. Depth Of Field Photoshop Action

Rollover this image to see the before. :)

This action is for faking a shallow depth of field! Sometimes you just want the background to be blurred but the way to do is to to slowly build it up!  It will also put more focus on your subject.  This image was taken with a 50mm 1.4 at f/2.

Let's begin...

Today I am sharing one of my actions with you! It's called Hummingbird. There's several layers you can tweak: Grain, Haze, Contrast and Darken. I love to use it on shots that are either bright or outdoorsy!
